So 2 days ago, on the 5th of July, Day6 (Even of Day) is making a comeback!
As I was on a social media fasting (tomorrow will be the 40th day btw), I don't really keep up with their current comeback, cause nowadays marketing is done through social media...but I subscribed on Day6 news on Kakao talk. So if there is a new article about them, I will get a notification. This method is like a lifesaver cause I don't need to stay on social media but I can still get updates about my favorite artist (oh how life is saved by that lol). So I was aware of their upcoming comeback, but I mistook it as the 9th of July. Haha
So on the comeback day, I was working like usual, and then busy making a fermented drink my friend recommend to me. Then when I was finally rested on my bed, I saw that Day6 (Even of Day) was making a comeback on that day cause I saw their radio performance. Anyway, so I listened to their live performances first, "Right through me" and "Walk" which were amazing, so I saw the MV and listen to the whole album right away.
This album I might say, have a lot of my new favorite Day6 songs. It's crazy how they can always make good music every time they comeback urghhggh. Anyway, so while listening to the whole album, I wrote my thoughts on the first listen, and here they are.
1st track. 우린 (WE)
I just cry. Like for real. The lyrics....like there is nothing we can do anyway but things will get better eventually....yes...apbolbu. and Wonpil part saying 우린, 우린, 우린 (we..we...we..) repeatedly is a masterpiece, it tore my heart. It hurts uh...
2nd track. 뚫고 지나가요 (Right Through Me)
Youngk wide range just shocked me for the millionth time, every time. I like this part T.T

3rd track. 역대급 (WALK)
I really like the melody! And the lyrics! Just keep walking, cause there will always be things outside of our expectation...the part "walk walk walk walk on and on"....just...I want to scream that part so bad in a concert. Things will seem okay in a few years. Now is always the hardest...so just keep walking...it's actually always fun.
I love the 'ye ye' part by YoungK haha...and also Wonpil's voice in this song is superbbb, it just complements the melody so well.
4th track. 네가 원했던 것들 (all the things you wanted)
Feels so retro. Like Reply 1988 drama. The scene at night in their neighborhood. When there is no one and just walk and then sit at the stairs. I can imagine it's like in the dawn, feels so mellow and few chills felt in your arm but you just sit there to do nothing...feeling all the feels.
5th track. 비극의 결말에서 (from the ending of a tragedy)
The opening feels like the Indonesian band feels in the 2000ish. It is also like a soundtrack of a teenage movie, about the members of a teenage band that gather together, and then after practice, they ride a bike through a wide road surrounded by trees in a yellowish light of sunset.
6th track. 나 홀로 집에 (Home Alone)
My shoulder just shake shake following the beat. And then my feet also follow along. And then I clap my hand. It's a fun song to just listen to. And Dowoon's part! I was shocked haha it was really brief but great!!. And my butt shakes too..yeah lol. An image of Youngk with a yellow Elvis-like costume dancing around flashes through. Okay, lol.
7th track. LOVE PARADE
"Mm mm" part, love it. And loooove part. Yes, I can imagine singing this part at the concert. Omg, the papapapa part. And then what suddenly omg instruments change on and on, it is so fun in a simpleness. Yes someone is playing the drums in the parade...it is a long march!!! With a lot of people enjoying the day eating ice cream while seeing the parade. They throw flowers!! And smile brightly .. I miss seeing a parade. It's so fun...ah the firecrackers sound at the end makes the parade explode with happiness even more. Love this song...!
In conclusion, this album is again a masterpiece from Day6. My favorite song..in this album is uhm...I may say 'Walk' cause I really love the feeling of singing it in a concert situation, it must be fun. I also really like the message of the song. But I love every song in this album it's like...love, not like. Love ittttt!!!
I like how the sound is totally different from the first Even of Day album. It's like they are always exploring...can I say this one more time? I love this album!!! ughghdsgdhsdh
