Wow gak tuh. Jadi kegiatan gw pas musim panas kemarin bener-bener pagi ke perpus, baca buku, siang makan di kantin, baca buku ...

My Top 5 Sauces and Spices

Cooking for me is a survival skill, I can cook for me, and I can eat all of the things I've cooked in my life. And I almost never follow a recipe to cook something. I also don't like making cakes or baking things because it mostly needs a measurement that should be followed to get the best result. For me, cooking is just a way to obtain food, and to get nutrition, while having an okay taste, or still good to eat. It's as simple as that.

As I never really measure the amount of sauce or spices in my cooking, it can be a bit risky if I put something really strange on it (while I don't avoid strange ingredients as well). So having good ammunition to support this simple cooking is very important. I always use very versatile spices and sauces that even if I combine them all, it won't taste bad. It's a certified good, from me.

Oyster sauce

Oyster sauce is just instant happiness. It has a sweet and salty taste, a very thick and rich flavor. Honestly, just use this sauce, and I can cook while closing my eyes.

Garlic and Onion

My two best friends actually. Garlic just gives a basic 'cooking' foundation, while onion gives the best roof on top of the foundation, the best addition to any food, either cooked or raw.

Chili flakes

Very simple addition but give a nice kick to any food. I put it on everything. While having no chili flakes is fine, it's just nice and fun to have them around.

Sesame oil

Its nutty flavor and fragrance just give wholeness to a food. It somehow makes the food feel healthier and clean.

Pepper

The basic. But it really builds the base of food, it makes meaty food feels ten times better, and its warmth will protect us from all the bad things in the world.

And here is 'Cooking Master' a song I made for all the cooking masters in the world (us).
